Background
Manchester based and family owned outdoor clothing brand Regatta was established in 1981. Its founding mission was to sell affordable products to inspire people to explore the great outdoors.

Brief
Over the years their customer base had rapidly expanded and diversified to include everyone looking for an outdoor adventure. Regatta’s marketplace became more competitive with also a desire to design their own fabric technologies, an enduring brand identity was needed to reflect their ambitious future.

Solution
‘For Every Adventure’ was strategically at the heart of the brand, reflecting their broad customer market and challenged consumers to experience their own adventures in the great outdoors. Regatta’s visual identity and logo identified garments and POS, becoming instantly recognisable and reflected adventurers of dog walkers to ramblers, campers and backpackers to climbers and everyone in between. Inspired by the diversity of the Regatta offer the symbol was a representation of their broad customer appeal. Staying true to that vision, expressed across a UK wide TV and customer engagement campaign helped Regatta grow, gaining the prestigious Queen’s Award for Export along the way.
