Monotype – Johnston 100

Background
Designed by Edward Johnston, the Johnston typeface had been used across the London Underground system since 1916. To mark the font’s centenary, Monotype introduced a new Johnston 100 font and teamed up with Transport for London to promote this new product and, simultaneously, London’s famous transport system.
 
Brief
Create a campaign to promote Johnston 100 and celebrate the London Tube.
 
Solution
Campaign celebrating the language of London through events including Clerkenwell Design Week and the Regent Street summer party, posters and merchandise.
